3D printing is becoming increasingly achieving its positive aspirational impact in medical field also, with surgeons turning to the technology to create tailor-made implants for their patients. The most disruptive and intelligent application of 3D printing in the medical world might be Bio-Printing – the production of human organs for transplant or for body on a chip use. The technology involves the creation of replacement tissues and organs that are printed layer-by-layer into a three-dimensional structure.
The challenging and inspirational field of Bio-Printing is increasingly becoming the scope of study among our researchers. Futuristic analysis and design of the Bio-Printing is consistently being done in our group.
